SSIGMA Empowers 45 MIT-ADT Students with Industrial Automation Course
In a bid to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry requirements, SSIGMA conducted an extensive course titled “Implementation of Industrial Automation” at SSIGMA Lab. The course was attended by 45 enthusiastic students from MIT-ADT.
Spread across five sessions held on April 6th, 7th, 13th, 20th, and 21st, 2024, the program delved deep into the intricacies of industrial automation. Covering a wide array of topics ranging from robotics and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), sensor technology, and process control systems, the course provided a comprehensive overview of the field. Through a blend of theoretical lectures and hands-on practical sessions, students were exposed to the latest advancements and best practices in automation engineering.
The collaboration between SSIGMA and MIT-ADT exemplifies a commitment to fostering industry-relevant education and nurturing the next generation of automation engineers. By providing students with access to state-of-the-art facilities and expert guidance, the course aimed to equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in the dynamic field of industrial automation.
MIT-ADT Faculty Visit at SSIGMA

Prof. Bhumeshwar Patle, an expert in Robotics & Automation at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, School of Engineering and Science, MIT-ADT University, graced our facilities.
